Call for Applications: Sub Grants for small farmers in the Eastern Caribbean

The Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) in partnership with Pro NGO! e.V. Germany (www.pro-ngo.org), with co-funding from the European Union, has commenced a 24-month project which started in February 2017 and is scheduled to be completed in January 2019. The project seeks to enhance opportunities for sustainable livelihoods across Eastern Caribbean farming communities.

CPDC invites all SMALL FARMERS located in BARBADOS, GRENADA, and ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES to apply for a small grant which would assist in the implementation of climate smart agriculture practices that will reduce operational costs. CPDC will provide limited technical assistance upon request. Kindly see attached Guidelines for the Call for Applications. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

    If Climate Smart practices are cushioned in technical way, the farmer would have increase production ,bountiful harvest ,adding to the economy.

    Am Charles from Ghana a graduate in Agriculture of which I hold Certificate in General Agriculture. Am having this vision of farming a Cashew crop Plantation which I believe is going to help elevate poverty in my community but will be grateful if I can get funds to aid in achieving this great vision.
