The Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC), supported by the Open Society Foundations, is implementing the Caribbean Emancipation 2030 campaign to raise awareness of sovereign debt and climate justice in Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
This initiative aligns with the global Jubilee 2025 movement, calling for inclusive, rights-based debt reforms to unlock resources for sustainable development. CPDC seeks policy brief submissions that propose actionable, locally relevant solutions addressing the impacts of unsustainable debt.
These briefs will support advocacy efforts focused on improving food and nutrition security, reducing poverty, enhancing education and healthcare, and building more resilient and equitable Caribbean economies.
All submissions should be sent by Monday, 12th May, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. (UTC/GMT -4)
The abstracts will be reviewed, and researchers chosen will be contacted to further develop the full policy briefs.
