Consultancy to Formulate and Develop One Research Paper on the Impact of COVID-19 on Sovereign Debt and the Economic Development in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean

In partnership with the European Union, the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) will be undertaking a joint 2-year grant partnership from March 2021 – June 2023. The project seeks to build the Non-Governmental Sector’s capacity in the Caribbean by implementing a number of specific actions focusing on strengthening NGOs’ capacity to provide key development solutions to vulnerable groups affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a result CPDC is desirous of undertaking a consultancy aimed at providing thematic technical assistance to the CPDC to strengthen the region’s knowledge base on sovereign debt and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on economic development in the region. The consultant will be required to develop an economic assessment of the region over the three-year period with specific focus on the socio-economic environment in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

All applications must be submitted by March 21st, 2022 by 5:00 p.m. (UTC/GMT -4). CPDC will only respond to the successful applicant(s). Only persons meeting the criteria as outlined in the Terms of Reference should apply.
