MISSION
To be the voice of the HIV community by Education, Rehabilitating, Motivating and Networking with People Living with HIV (PLHIV).
VISION
To reduce the rates of HIV/AIDS in Barbados and to advocate on behalf of PLHIV to promote protection of their human rights.
FOCAL AREAS
Providing comfort, counsel and support to members and other PLHIV;
Capacity Building for members;
Education and Awareness raising for members and community groups;and
Advocacy and Human Rights Outreach.
KEY OBJECTIVES
To provide psych social support to persons infected and affected by HIV.
MAJOR /CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Developed Story books on HIV/AIDS for children;
Development of a CARE pill box;
Facilitated local and regional workshops with other HIV networks;
Conducted sensitization sessions in schools
