FOCAL AREAS
Marginalised groups such as : LGBTI, People living with HIV (PLWHIV), and persons with physical disabilities.
KEY OBJECTIVES
To establish an organization and learning centre to assist in the provision and promotion of community specific projects and programmes;
To educate, empower, and develop persons from marginalised communities through offering on site basic literacy and skills building and vocational training to encourage self sufficiency; and
To collaborate, support and facilitate necessary and suitable ongoing national/community based projects and programmes for marginalised groups , specifically persons who are marginalised based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression , physical disability or HIV status.
MAJOR/CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS
The establishment of the Community Education Empowerment Project 1&2 ( C.E.E.P) which offers free skills building and remedial classes to persons from the surrounding community and is funded by the Maria Holder Memorial Trust; and
The establishment of an Adult Evening Health Clinic, which offers basic health services and consultancies every other Saturday.
