MISSION
To participate fully as Amerindian/ Indigenous leaders committed to help our peoples development through our traditional decision making processes and to realize the Nation's Commitment to the Indigenous/ Amerindian Peoples and their rights under Guyana's Constitution inclusive of Article 149G.
VISION
An established dynamic leadership comprising all Toshaos, diligently pursuing and protecting the spiritual, cultural, economic, environmental, traditional rights and well-being through the promotion of good governance for the Indigenous Peoples of Guyana.

KEY OBJECTIVES
To ensure the social and economic development of Indigenous Peoples of Guyana;
To protect the culture, languages and traditional lands of indigenous peoples; and
To safeguard the basic human rights of indigenous peoples.
MAJOR/ACHIEVEMENTS
The establishment of a Secretariat; and
Lobbying to revise the Amerindian Act #6 of 2006.
