To empower youth to excel in the performing arts through relevant, nurturing, intense and holistic developmental training , offer high quality Musical Theatre experiences to the Barbadian public and contribute towards the sustainability of the performing arts industry in Barbados.

KEY OBJECTIVES
Tutelage, Personal and Professional Career Guidance : To Provide Best Practice Training, personal development support and academic and career advising to youth beneficiaries to successfully actualize careers in the performing arts industry;
Commitment to Accessibility & Equal Opportunity: Ensure that socio-economic status is not a deterrent to creative actualization and create equal access to opportunity through scholarships for performing arts education for economically disadvantaged students; and
Empower: To empower our students as 'Triple Threats' in the performing Arts Industry and the very best they aspire to be: confident, creative world changers.
MAJOR/CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS
OTT is the only programme island wide that builds the 'triple-threat' (singing, dancing, and acting), capacity of youth in these three specific performing art forms. They proudly serve as the base for musical theatre appreciation for young Barbadian artists, and to date, have patterned with organisations such as The Maria Holder Memorial Trust, The Clara Lionel Foundation, The Frank Collymore Hall and Rock Hard Cares Foundation, to empower over two hundred (200) youth through performing arts education;
They holistically meet the needs of our youth beneficiaries through six programmes and services, Performing Arts Training, OTT Scholarships& Bursaries, The Bridge Award Programme, OTT Meals Programme, Social Support Services and our OTT Academic Initiative;
Over the past eight (8) years, we have locally produced and staged licensed (Jr.) Broadway Musicals including: Roald Dahl's 'Matilda', 'The Little Mermaid', 'Honk! Jr', 'Madagascar Jr', 'Once on this island', 'Seussical Jr, Into the Woods' and '13'; and
To date, fourteen (14) former OTT students are currently attending or have graduated from schools, academies or universities in the United States of America (USA), or the United Kingdom (UK), including the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York, Interlochen Arts Academy, the University of Arizona, and Urdang Academy. Currently many of the alumni are booking work in international theatrical productions.
