KEY OBJECTIVES
To utilise outreach as well as vocational and technical training to build the capacity of communities so they may better serve to diversify the economy;
To influence policy and legislation towards sustainable development; and
To create strategies and implement projects which assure that communities adapt easily and are resilient to the changing climate.
MAJOR/CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Conducted food production outreach as well as vocational and technical training with over twenty (20) primary school teachers, and one hundred (100) primary school children throughout Eastern and Central Trinidad;
Received GEF SGP funding to establish one (1) cluster community gardening unit in Eastern Trinidad; and
Currently partnered with North Eastern University on a Crime and Community Resilience Project.
