Moreno Randal Jackson BSc, MBA

Moreno Jackson is the recipient of our 2nd place prize for successfully completing the NGO Link Pilot- User Feedback Survey. He has won a laptop computer with value of $750 USD.

Mr. Jackson was born in Paramaribo, Suriname, in 1990. He received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the ADEK University, Paramaribo, Suriname, in 2013, and his MBA in Innovation and Technology from the Poly Technical Institute of Suriname in collaboration with the University of Twente, Netherlands in 2017.
In 2018, he received a CPDC scholarship to complete the NGO professional Management course at UWI Open Campus. In 2014, he joined the Junior Chamber International (JCI) where he currently is appointed as National Vice President. He is also one of the Peace Ambassadors of JCI Suriname.
Since March 2013, he has been working for N.V. Energie Bedrijven Suriname, where he fulfils the position of Power Quality Supervisor. He is also responsible for actively contributing to the implementation of solar generation in the distribution network.


In 2016, he was recognized as one of the 250 Young Leaders of the Americas by former President Barack Obama in the United States of America. As of 2017, he is an official representative of Leadership Management International (LMI) where he is facilitating the Making of 100 Champions in Suriname program. In 2018, he participated at the WFYS Post Forum at Moscow and was one of the main participants to draft their constitution. In March 2019, he was a participant of the Inclusive Service Delivery course at the Hague, Netherlands. In his spare time, Moreno loves to read books, watch documentaries with his two brothers or seek adventures in the outdoors.
